I think that the biggest mistake that Rick Campbell made against the Bombers was not pulling Rourke for a series or two in the third quarter when he was clearly struggling and hesitating on his passes. His main success two years ago came with his quick release where defenders didn't have enough time to react. Chase Brice saw a bit of action already and allowing Rourke to get his bearings on the sidelines and see a different perspective would have been beneficial IMO. Hopefully, Dinwiddie does the same thing if Kelly struggles before it is too late.

I can understand wanting to ease Kelly in slowly, which may be accomplished by establishing the run, however, Saskatchewan is #2 against the run behind the Argos. They are vulnerable through the air (at least in terms of yardage) though.

Thor with the bad hip won’t be playing Thursday.
Personally I think Hickson is the more dangerous RB.

That’s a shame.

I agree. Hickson has been the more dangerous back this year for the Riders. I really don't know why they don't dress both of them because Ouellette can't last the season as the every-down running back. He needs someone to spell him as he had in Toronto.

Depth chart is out. Mauger starts the game backing up Priester with Mark Milton stepping in to Pierce’s HB spot. Other than Kelly starting, that is the only line up change

Looks like they are selling some seats in the North Grandstand if I am seeing correctly. Would look better if that section was mostly full rather than blocked off.

Hope everyone can make it out... The weather looks great and with the EX on and Riders in town should be a good time.

Go ARGOS !!!

I'm not sure if anyone else noticed but I see that Davaris Daniels has been switched to the right or wide side of the formation and Polk switched to the field side. I wonder if this is to get Daniels away from Milligan who may be the most impactful defensive player in the league thus far in 2024.

On the other hand, putting Coxie and Polk on the same side is very intriguing given that their skills are quite similar.

Can't believe I missed that. I think They want to make things as normal for Kelly as possible, as Daniels and Coxie played boundary side together last year.

I also want to see how they will utilize Priester and/or Mauger and Adeleke for that matter. I can see the DC's trying different things to match up against the Riders offense depending on down, distance and field position.
