Ottawa wasn't able to push the ball down field or run the ball. I was skeptical about Greg Quick being hired as DC, but not anymore. Darkangelo & Pickett are great together. Argos ran the ball well against the team with the worst run defense....yet Kelly still threw for over 400 yards. Key plays were made resulting in a win. 7-6 while only having 3 home games is nothing short of incredible. With this win, Ottawa can't catch the Argos in the standings & like against Hamilton, secure the season series.
The Argos' magic number to clinch a home playoff berth is a mere 2 - any combination of Toronto wins and Hamilton losses equalling 2 means the Argos will, at a minimum, host the East semi-final at BMO Field.
A Hamilton loss + Toronto win this weekend clinches a playoff berth.

I am confident we don’t need a Hamilton loss, so go Ti-Cats.

You're still thinking about first place, Angelo?

Als haven’t been great in the road and the have a home in home with what should be a healthy Riders team by then. If Argos win out they have a chance. Also, I hate the west and would prefer no crossover.

After watching the replay, I'm pretty sure Lirim's missed convert was slightly tipped at the line.

I thought that too when I saw it in person.

It's so crazy (and seemed to go unnoticed by the broadcasters) that Lirim faced almost an identical situation to the game in Hamilton that preceded his stint on the injured list -- lining up for a relatively short, last-play game-winning field goal not long after missing a chip-shot convert. The fact he shook off any demons to make the FG this time gives me 100% confidence that he will be money from now on.

The broadcasters were still too busy talking about Chads 2 picks from the first quarter to pay any attention to the 500 plus yards of total offence and Lirims redemption. Marshall Ferguson?

I rewatched it this week and it was 100% tipped. Some Redblacks players were clearly excited about it, too.

Argos seem to get Ferguson every game.
