Would be really cool if ARGONotes could do a reunion concert.... ( like the Eagles did ). I would be willing to donate a few tickets if there are band members needing tickets... Hope we see the band get back to gethor some day .... Always enjoyed this .

They’d need a bigger venue!

Just an observation----in the Montreal game the Argos played 9 rookies ( not having played in NFL or CFL) with 4 of those rookies as starters.
Polk, Vandal, Holley, Milton started and Mital Parish, Hergott, Darkamgelo and Blackburn all saw action during the game. If you add Franklin who only played one game last year, that is a lot of inexperience. Is this one of the reasons the team is taking time rounding into playoff shape?

The good thing is that they will only get better with playing time. Good reason to be optimistic about the future.

I agree with all of this. The only issue is that with the way CFL free agency and the cap work, no guarantee how far into the future any of these players will still be here.

To me the biggest victory was in the fact that they started 10 Canadians. We all know the stronger your Canadian talent is in this league, usually means the better your team is. It also allowed them to sub in Darkangelo without worrying about who he was replacing. Same with Parrish. A great luxury.

You're getting the Burlington Teen Tour Band at the final home game so I hope that reminds everybody how great it is to have a band at football!

What bugs me is that Sean Bowen surely knows sports, football. Pains me seeing him pump the crowd up while Argos are on offence. TV timeout, but still odd since the noise doesn't stop. I didn't notice the music being any louder and I was able to talk to my dad pretty easily FWIW.

Yeah. The timing is off when they get the fans going for sure. Maybe it is pre determined based on the time of the quarter, who knows.
As for the music, I’m with you. I sit next to Argo57 and have no problem talking to him during the game. I actually like having music in between plays of the games, but I’m only 56, so what do I know?
