Compared to guys like Butler (5.0 career rushing average) and Oliveira (5.4), STA can't pass block or catch as well as them. 2025 is his worst rushing average (4.5) in a season where he's had his most carries. And he just got injured again.

Keep proving that you know nothing there. All your opinions are biased based on Nationality. Yet you call me a cheerleader. Hypocrisy at it’s finest.

Keep ignoring CFL stats or on-field evidence in favor of what some experts tell you based on pre-determined "Nationality" stuff = looks good on you, dupe. Ignorance at it's finest. You aren't capable of rational CFL discussion - see ya pal.
Evidence? Stats? Have you seen Butler’s stats? Or do you only follow Canadian players?
You are the only one that pre determines everything by nationality and have no clue what rational discussion is.
I have cited James Butler's career CFL stats - as a starter with several different teams/offences - and it shows the weakest career yds/ carry average of all CFL starting RBs, current or the past decade. If you wish to ignore this stat or claim it is meaningless, it demonstrates how you are not capable of a rational football discussion. I get that you believe all American players in the CFL are superstars and beyond criticism and scrutiny, and also that Canadian talent is not to be viewed in a positive light unless some CFL shill or expert tells you it's Ok (OMG - K. Julien-Grant dropped a pass, so let me shine a glaring light on that) - it's what you've been told/sold, so stick with what you know, dupe. Done responding to anything you say. Have a nice day.

With Chris Schleuger being re-signed in BC to play right tackle, this likely frees up Dejon Allen for what will hopefully be a return to Toronto.

An interesting take by the Lions GM regarding the impact NIL will have on future QB’s considering the CFL.

Update: The Lions are still interested in re-signing Dejon Allen, if he can pass a physical.

With the release of MLB Micah Awe, last years league leading tackler, he could end up in either Toronto or Hamilton. I believe he has a history with Coach Quick.

I would prefer that the Argos take the extra cap money and re-sign McManis instead.

Agreed, or give Casey or Darkangelo a chance to be the starter.

Yep. I just don't see Awe as the best fit.

I’m with you.
Would like to see McManis back with the Argos (at a reasonable price) which would give them the best linebacking in the CFL by a mile but if he chooses to sign elsewhere they will be just fine with Judge, Pickett and Casey or Darkangelo in the middle.
