If they loose this game (Calgary needs the game much more than the Argos) they will hold onto their second place standing in the next draft, although it doesn't look like there is anyone in the draft to get too excited about.

Does anyone know if we own our own first-round draft choice? I have a vague recollection of seeing something that claimed it had been traded.

There are very good players up every draft IMO.
A number of D-linemen in the CFL Bureau's top 20 at this point, and some DBs as well = both areas of need. Also - at least 2 or 3 outstanding U Sports RBs - not that they will have the vision to try there, but maybe.

Doege gets the start, Williams does not dress, Lirim sits.

I stand corrected -- he is dressing, but so is Gachuz. I saw the latter on the list of incoming players and just assumed he'd be handling the place-kicking. I still think he will do at least some of it. Bizarrely, the Argos are dressing five specialists: two PKs, one punter and two long snappers. That says something about the club's NAT depth, does it not?

Yeah, it says they have 10 Nationals on the injured lists. Not sure what you think it says.paulwoods13 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 17, 2025 1:32 pm I stand corrected -- he is dressing, but so is Gachuz.
