Some sad news to pass along

It is with sadness that I share news about Mark Combot, who founded this message board in 2005 and helped build the online Argonauts community many of have enjoyed for years.

Mark is currently living with ALS. According to the link I posted, Mark was formally diagnosed in July 2024.

The fundraiser has been established to help Mark with the significant expenses that often accompany ALS, including accessibility modifications, mobility equipment, assistive communication technology, and everyday living costs. It will also help him continue making memories with family and friends while navigating an uncertain future. The campaign also seeks to increase awareness of ALS and the need for greater research funding.
