Arguably the first time since 2019 that I expect not only to lose, but lose badly.
Re: Game Thread: Toronto Argonauts @ Montreal Alouettes
Call me crazy, but I think the Argos will win. Als on a very short week, and I think the Argos will be fired up

Hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

Mtl is firing on all cylinders right now. Fajardo playing the best football of his career. All 3 phases of their game have been good.
With all of our injuries, weakness in the secondary, and lack of a pass rush the past two games, I want us to keep it close. If it is a one or two score game going into the 4th quarter, anything can happen.
I think Cam Dukes definitely should start, but I would not wait until late in the game if he is playing inconsistently to pull him.
Go Argos.

Yep _ fear Fajardo and that Als receiving corps is going to carve up this Argo secondary like a turkey dinner.
And the Als D is pretty solid (though maybe over-rated by some), but they will be missing their best D player in DeQuoy (i think he is ruled out?); so maybe pick on his inexperienced replacement; also run the ball lots please, to take some heat off Dukes.
Re: Game Thread: Toronto Argonauts @ Montreal Alouettes
Stamps were able to hang with them last week....there's hope, albeit slight. I think we end up losing this because of our D though.
Re: Game Thread: Toronto Argonauts @ Montreal Alouettes
The O has to show up this week, score some points but most of all keep the time of possession reasonable to help a D out that is still trying to figure things out.

It is a no brainer to think that Montreal's plan will be to have a fast start. The Argos better to be ready to match their intensity from the opening whistle if they have a hope of winning this game.

One of the reasons why the CFL is so great is you never really know what can happen.
At least, that's what I am telling myself. Yup.
