Solid 3rd quarter. Especially on D. Let's close this out.

Refs get a lot of hate. But got to give them credit for not blowing the hand off to Brissett dead when Kelly was wrapped up.

Uh oh. Kelly is hurt.

Ball game. Don't know about you guys, but I would have gone for it on the last 3rd and short to fully ice the game. Nice to see Liam get the record though.

Good for LH but what a good/bad record to have. With the exception of the long one before the half, we should have converted those possessions into TDs. Bring back a FB. Trestman did well to use Declan Cross in the red zone.

Carey needs to fix his helmet. Can’t have a big gain go dead because his helmet falls off.

Some very positive signs heading to the play-offs.

Diverse, committed ground game; lots of receiver options (but was Mital even on the field this game?); Giffen at OG could maybe be the starter to replace Vandal if/when Hunter goes back to OG (but he is a good option at OT as well). Kelly maybe learning to use his legs and run at key times rather than make risky throws.

D is stronger with McManis & Brinkman both in; Adeleke should be the starter at S-OLB (what took them to give him some shots there?); Darkangelo & Sopik could rotate at W-OLB (Darkangelo the better pure run stopper); still a bit concerned with the secondary at times - especially the burn-able Franklin, but Milton has made some plays and rookie Blackburn as an extra DB in some packages might be a good idea.

Liam H being money could be a big difference maker in a big game, and Grant (or McMahon) lurk for big play-returns.

Closer than it should have been but a well deserved win nevertheless. As much as we all would like to see more of the FGs turned into TDs, it is a result of the Argo offense getting close enough to get those FGs. The net offense was 517 to 268. couple of D players were noticeable with some good plays---Milton and Adeleke. Perhaps they have earned the right to be on the field in upcoming games. Kelly not back to MOP level but is getting better.

Hajrullahu broke Lance Chomyc's (among others) for most field goals in a game. I think Lance set that record twice in 1988 in a 49-7 win over Ottawa and a 42-25 win over Calgary.

As for the game itself, whoever predicted that Montreal can be run is absolutely correct, 234 yards and they managed to get all three running backs involved, which is nice to see for once.

When you see the Argos play as they did last night, you can see how this team can win a championship. Hopefully, they can find consistency from here on in this season. If they can win 2 of their last 3, including the home game against Ottawa, they will likely finish 2nd and get that home playoff game.

What was especially gratifying in this game was how they were able to quickly bounce back when Montreal scored. Kelly didn't let that early interception get to him either. It was a solid performance all the way around.

I don’t get why so many people complain about 8 FG’s. Would you rather see 8 punts? The 24 points on FG’s alone is more points that they were scoring most nights in the first half of the season on offence. For the record, Argos have only punted 9 times in the last 3 games. That is unheard of in the CFL.

Argos played a great game. An overthrow for a pick and a punt return TD really the only things that kept this game close.

Great game by Adeleke. He was all over the field last night. Argos started 9 or 10 Canadians last night which gives the so much flexibility during a game.

Stupid, selfish penalty by Hansen after the last kickoff. Good thing it didn’t cost the Argos. 15 yards there could have been huge.
