Tachinski is 6'4" 215 lbs and is reasonably fast. Wonder if one of the teams will try him out at WR. Pity, would like to see him get a chance at QB but he wont be the first QB turned into a WR

Interesting that Elgersma is not on list
Re: Canadian Quarterbacks in the 2025 CFL Draft
IF he could come close to duplicating Brad Sinopoli's transition (best position switch while in pro ball in the history of the game IMO), that would be awesome.
However, he should be getting a real look as a QB - for a CFL team that values dual threat QBs. Very doubtful he does IMO, and the Bummers with their so-called Canadian Mafia in place right in Tachinski's back-yard could have viewed his play lots; they have shown ZERO interest in bringing in Canadian QBs though.

This is a little off topic but looking at the Combine list there is an interesting name. I'm not a fan of Global players but Tommy Wilson might be an exception. At 5' 11 1/2", 196lbs, he recorded an electronic 4.27 40, a 6.9 3-Cone and 4.1 Shuttle. Fairly young (23/24?) and highly productive in Europe last year. With some time on a P R he might be a player to watch-----or not.

Elgersma has very positive things to say about his 3 training camps as part of the excellent CFL intern program for Canadian QBs.

Ah yes - the CFL's little Lebowski intern program for under-privileged Canadian QBs - paying big dividends, some time down the road I suppose ?
Re: Canadian Quarterbacks in the 2025 CFL Draft
I think its a great program for helping U Sports Quarterbacks. I think a lot of other Canadian QBs who are hoping to turn professional will also take advantage of the American QB camps like Taylor Elgersma did.ArgoRavi wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 11:05 pmElgersma has very positive things to say about his 3 training camps as part of the excellent CFL intern program for Canadian QBs.

Taylor Elgersma (QB – Laurier)
Elgersma didn’t have a fantastic week by any means, but he flashed a big arm and intriguing accuracy while proving he belonged at the event. This was an outside-the-box invite for Jim Nagy and the Senior Bowl staff, but Elgersma likely opened some eyes this week. He wasn’t the best QB in Mobile, but he was far from the worst. He’s going to be a project at the NFL level, but with ideal size and arm strength and a solid showing at the Senior Bowl, teams will be taking a closer look in the coming weeks.
