A new beginning, hopefully the next up and coming stars of the CFL.gilthethrill wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 6:20 pmThanks Will I saw that. It looks like the interior...we'll I guess the DEs too will be inexperienced with TC battles determining who plays. Will wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 5:15 pmJohnson re-signed in Saskatchewan today.gilthethrill wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 9:00 pm

I thought Derek Parish and Jordan Williams both looked outstanding at times last season, I honestly don’t see much drop off with both of them starting this year.gilthethrill wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 6:20 pmThanks Will I saw that. I think that both players will be key contributors this season but the secret behind the D-line's success in the past three seasons has been the depth of quality where rotation has allowed the unit to be relentless and fresh throughout the game.

I agree. Williams got lost in the shuffle a little as he had an early season injury which allowed Ralph Holley to shine but Williams was an important contributor in the playoffs.RichK wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 6:42 pmI thought Derek Parish and Jordan Williams both looked outstanding at times last season, I honestly don’t see much drop off with both of them starting this year.gilthethrill wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 6:20 pmThanks Will I saw that. Agreed. The only question would be how big a drop in depth behind the starters will there be, if any.

Yep; anyone here been naming any Argo D-linemen from the past 3 years who they did not rate as very good ? Good players, but also sharp talent evaluators put them in place and then smart D coaches deployed them. This year is going to be even more challenging though IMO - 5 quality D-linemen gone - gotta recruit well, including making it a draft priority IMO.primetime321 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 8:42 pmRichK wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 6:42 pmI thought Derek Parish and Jordan Williams both looked outstanding at times last season, I honestly don’t see much drop off with both of them starting this year.gilthethrill wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 6:20 pm

Hendrix & Barlow went to the Ticats last season and looked Ok, but nothing special.

Adeleke signed by Ottawa---what is going on with the Argos?
Re: 2024-2025 Offseason Transactions Page
From the Grey Cup winning D the team has now lost Metchie, Amos, Priester, Adeleke, Sopik, Orimolade, Ceresna, Brinkman, Holley and Smith. Wow, is the Argo admin asleep at the switch or is there a master plan we are not aware of?
