3 Down Nation Power Ranking puts the Argos 6th

Very disappointing. Number one reason I became an Argo fan was to win a February power ranking.

The poor reputation the Argos have for being unpopular and hated is maintained by a constant barage of attacks on all fronts.

Considering one of the main purposes of 3DN is to showcase Canadian football, it would be nice if they didn't pile on the Argos along with everyone else.

I listened to the 3 Down Podcast. Host John Hodge ( who is hilarious btw) explained the voting process. He said the Argos actually got 2 -1st place votes. If you haven't listened to it I suggest you do, it puts these silly rankings into context.

I have not checked this particular edition out, but maybe the Hamilton and Saskatchewan correspondents in particular voted the Argos 9th (or lower ) bringing their total power ranking down. I find Hodge to actually be the most fair—-at least if you take his Bombers out of the equation

I feel like Hodge and JC have both been more complimentary of the Argos the past couple of years. Your assessment of how the voting went is probably not far off the mark.

As a former "Podcaster", Power Rankings were never a topic of conversation whenever I hosted a round table. Plenty of other useless content but never a discussion about Power Rankings.

Paul my plan is to select certain episodes of IST and put the audio on You Tube. I had plenty of solid guests which really helped mask the sub par host.
