Elks upset Als.
Cody Fajardo clutch at the end of game, but IMO, MBT gift wrapped this win for the Elks. The 2 play sequence at the end of the first half was brutal.

I suspect that MBT has taken his final snap with the Alouettes. For whatever the reason, he just doesn't seem comfortable in that offence.

It’s the TSN panel’s fault.

The Elks have one a few in a row, but I wonder if they'll get a rude awakening from the Stampeders on Labour Day?

I see both them and the Bombers getting swept in their home and homes.

Splits in those series would make for interesting standings and great fall games in the final push. Same thing if the Argos can pull off a LDC win.

Narrator: the Elks did indeed get a rude awakening.

The Elks have signed yet another former Argo d-lineman - Jordan Williams.

Luke Willson on overdrive said today Edmonton is better than their record and Fajardo is a huge upgrade over Tre Ford and Ford only started because of his passport. Do they take in callers. OV from the Ottawa Valley is on the line….

Would never question the wisdom of a football genius and NFL fan-boy like the Lukester

Fajardo is an upgrade over Ford IMO if you want to run a typical, same old , standard look CFL offence - more experienced, better reads / vision, more accurate passer. IF there was a CFL HC/OC who got Ford's skill-set = superior QB mobility/speed, combined with a pretty good passing arm and they could design an offence to take full advantage of that (with a powerful, applied RB ground game), then they might put together a better offence than what Fajardo could bring; how many GCs did Tracy Ham get to compared to Fajardo ? However, thinking that could happen in the modern, myopic dullard thinking CFL is like expecting pigs to fly. Ford might have a decent career as a CFL back-up; he won't get a real opportunity to show his true abilities if they are thinking he can run a short pass / check-down, simpleton offence. How many more games has Cody won compared to Ford with the EE?

Wonder if Lukey has any clue about the recent success of superior run threat/ mobility QBs in his beloved NFL - did the clown even watch the Super Bowl game last year ?
