As for Hansen's departure, the team did sign 2 young Global DTs and draftee McKenzie must be penciled in on STs over the departed Herdmann-Reed.

Are any Canadian O-linemen getting OT reps at all at TC - will it be 2 import OTs or just the LT ?

It was hard to tell when I was there on Sunday. But pretty sure the Interior will be Hunter, Nacastro & Shepley...Dankwah, who is HUGE may get a look at OT when healthy. I did notice draftees Gauthier getting time at CB & John at S.

What a story if the Canadian RB out of Guelph drafted "too high" by some pundits comes out of nowhere to secure the position. Can't wait to see him play.

Same with the Safety out of Windsor....or at least is a solid contributor.

So it looks as if the team will go with Makonzo at FS with either John or Blackburn as backup. The team brought in a load of American OL players and one would have to suspect that at least one has impressed the coaches. Rush Reimer has played OT in college and has a good resume but who knows who they are looking at. Looks like Horn has won the 3rd QB position. Still surprised it wasn't Duggan but the coaches must have seen something they really liked in Horn. I would have put money on Brown making the roster, which only shows how little I know! So who has been taking 1sr team reps at RB this week? Hicks looked good in the rookie camp we went to, but is he good enough to beat out the others (Logan?)

Wonder who the RBs will be; always liked Logan from when he was first with the Stamps, but maybe not an everydown between the tackles type RB; maybe a platoon of him and a bigger back ? Hope they have a run game anyways.
Agreed about Brown. Hicks and Jones are real good-looking prospects, both can run inside and out and good receivers, looks like one of them has a chance to make roster.

But I’m with Scooter, excited about Isaiah Smith. Early reports are glowing. He does everything well. Maybe this was the sleeper pick of the draft, the next Brady Oliviera (#14, 2019)? Ya never know. Smith is impressive like Brady off the field too. A classic Pinball selection. Call me a fan already.

We didn’t have a impactful Canadian back last year, and that’s something every good Argos team in the last 20 years has had: Adedoboye, Cross, Coombs, Durie, Johnson. Good to see that getting back on track.

I think Logan will be used primarily as a RB coming out of the backfield in passing situations, similar to MacMahon when he was with the team. He was returning kicks with Grant on Sunday so I think he will be used in the Return game.

What a duo that Grant and Logan would make in the return game. Punters could kick away from one of them and get as much trouble with the other one.
